Classroom Procedures Moving around the art room: You may get out of your seat to sharpen your pencil, get supplies, use the sink etc. during individual work time only, not while I am teaching Restroom / Water: Will be given only during individual work time and emergency only. Student should use the restroom during class change. Coming into class: You should enter quietly and start on daily sketch. Anyone not in his or her seat will be considered Tardy.
Letter Grades A (90 - 100) Awesome! You showed initiative and originality. You went beyond all expectations, exceptional craftsmanship, and used time wisely. B (80 - 89) Meet Standards. You did everything I requested, work show good craftsmanship, and followed all directions. C (70 - 79) Approaching Standards. You did just enough to get by, poor craftsmanship, and minimum requirements necessary. D (60 - 69) Needs Support. You did meet the lesson objectives, did not follow directions, and forgot to finish it. F (Below 60) No Effort and wasn’t turned in

Expectations for turning in work All projects must have your name and period clearly written on them. All work turned in must be in good condition, not dirty, wet or crumpled paper.
Pictures of projects must be submited in Canvas and the questions from the back of the grading sheet must be answered. The grading sheet and project will then be collected and graded. Project instructions and guidelines should be followed. Projects ideas should be original, use class time wisely. Grading Sheets should be followed to get max grade on projects. Will not take any projects after 7 days from due date, project will start minus 10 points for being late.
Absences: It is YOUR responsibility to ask for and complete make-up work due to an absence. I will not ask for the work, so make sure you bring it to me when it is completed. Time to make up work is equal to one day per absence day.
*** Intentional misuse of tools (ex: painting on another student) will result in a office referral and loss of privilege. I will find an alternative material for the student to use, such as crayons. The privilege will be returned when the student shows they are ready to use tolls as demonstrated***
